What is The Quiver?
The Quiver is a community of surfers sharing boards across 3 continents and 20+ countries. membership is for those who love all things surfboards, board design and connecting with like-minded folks.
Where can I rent surfboards?
Boards are available in the USA, Australia, Africa, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Indonesia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Portugal, Sri Lanka and more... it might’ve been easier listing where you can’t get a board. And if you’re dreaming up somewhere else to surf, request a board and we’ll do our best.
Can I rent my boards?
As a member you can add as many boards as you'd like. Board owners set their own pricing. Prices can be set on an hourly, daily, weekly or monthly basis. It's flexible and you set the terms.
What happens if a board is damaged during a rental?
If a board is returned with minor damage that requires repairs to make it water tight again, the board owner can charge a damage fee. This does not include minor pressure dings (that's normal wear). If the board is not returned or returned broken (with structural damage) the owner can charge the board price. This includes if the board is creased and cannot be easily repaired. Our members agree to Quiver’s "If you break it (or lose it), you've bought it" code of karma.
Do you offer insurance?
We do not currently offer insurance, but you do have the option to require a cash or Venmo deposit (you set the amount) before renting your boards. We recommend this as an all around good idea for first-time renters.
